I had that nagging feeling all day today that something was amiss. Finally at 2pm it occurred to me that I did not remind Lily to turn in her hot lunch order today (it was our second one ever - my attempt to justify) - so my poor Lily Bug went lunch-less!
At school pick-up I told her I felt terrible and asked her how she managed. She explained they gave her one of those sandwiches with the terrible dark stuff on it... deciphered as Vegemite. She said luckily there was a cupcake in the lunch too '_'
