Lily Sleeping on her Stuffed Dog

One of my (Wendy's) favorites. Lily looks so peaceful and is really just too cute! [05-18-06]

Longwood

Lily, Mom and Dad in front of the fountains at Longwood. [05-21-26]

Snuggle time with Grandpa Angst

Grandpa Angst managed to sneak in a few snuggles with Lily when Grandma Angst was not looking. They look pretty cozy! [05-20-06]

Really, my dad will be a professor?

Lily listens intently as Corey's PhD advisor Ritu explains to Lily longitudinal data analysis...and that soon she will have "Dr. Daddy Angst". [05-21-06]

Daddy Pinned!

Despite her small size, Lily managed to get a strong position early, wrapping her Daddy around her finger, and pinning him!

Pretty in Pink

Lily wearing the pink bunting Grandma Pfromm wore as a baby. What a precious baby girl! [05-18-06]

The Serious Side of Lily

Lily's "second" trip to Longwood : ) This photo looks like she strolled right over to grandma and grandpa Angst and hopped up on their knees! She is very serious!!! [05-21-06]

Dramalily

Breast milk again! Oh, the horror of it! Here's our lil' Lily showing mom and dad her acting skills. For some reason she really favors this pose. Let's hope she's not a little drama queen...

Lily's first hairdo

Sorry Grandma Angst, Lily got her first hairdo in the hospital. This is actually a video from May 5th, the day Lily was born, but I'm just getting around to posting it now since Google Video just yesterday released their new video technology. Check it out if you haven't already - http://video.google.com/. It is incredibly easy to use..but you do need a digital video recorder to upload your own videos.

Video Lily

As if we weren't spending enough time taking pictures of Lily, now we have a new toy! Google Video! I love Google...

Marathon Lily

Auntie Margo, Wendy's marathon training partner, seems to have a 'plan' for Lily. What do you say we start Lily off in the stroller with Auntie Margo pushing her...then we'll start getting some miles on those New Balance running shoes -- after she can walk. Wendy is chomping at the bit to get out on the road again.

Thanks Margo!

What's that smell?

Jackie wants to know what stinks and Lily seems equally perturbed with a fuzzy black cat sniffin' around.

*The cute dress was a gift from Grandpa Pfromm and Kaye.

Tummy Time

The latest recommendations call for several minutes of tummy-time for newborns. Its kind of fun watching Lily wallow around like a beached flounder a few times a day. Here she's trying to show me how strong her new neck muscles are. Daddy is so proud.

Jack & Lily

Tonight, Lily got to meet my Little Brother, Jack - hard to call him my 'Little' brother when he is now an inch taller than me ... and he's only 14. Then Jack took her out for ice cream so I have a feeling that Jack and Lily are going to get along great!

Mother and daughter

This just might be the best picture I've ever taken. The love between a mother and a daughter...and a very proud husband and daddy.

I really love this.

A walk in the park

Lily is already enjoying the Brandywine Park trail as much as we do. We can walk out our front door and onto the path. I'm sure we'll spend lots of time 'strolling' the path.

Sleeping Beauty...

After a very busy weekend, Lily winds down on her mommy's belly on Mother's Day...

Three Generations

Sandy, Lily, and Wendy...now I'm thinking we'll always have to pick names that end in a 'y'. It sure was sad saying goodbye to Sandy today when we dropped her off at the Philly airport. And it was Mother's Day too...

Happy Mother's Day to both Wendy and Sandy!

Grandma Pfromm

We were so blessed to have Grandma Pfromm (Sandy) out for the first week of Lily's life. She was a tremendous help with Lily ...and as an added bonus...our garden has never looked better!

Lily has grown quite fond of Grandma and she looks forward to spending more time with her at the Stag Island cottage this summer!
Thanks Sandy

Sleeping sweetly

This was after her big day on the town. Sleeping soundly on mom's chest.

No more pictures...

Enough with the camera already.... I'm only a week old and you've already taken 850 pictures - and that's not including the video. Don't you people have anything better to do?

Lily or Not Lily?

Lily - May 5, 2006--------------Wendy - March 31, 1973

Ok, so there might be a slight resemblence. I still think she looks like me though.
Corey

Lily's big adventure...

Today Lily went to Longwood Gardens www.longwoodgardens.com, but Mommy and Grandma couldn't get the baby seat snapped into the stroller so Lily had to come home without seeing the gardens. Oh well, they'll be plenty more times to see Longwood. Lily also picked out her new car since her Mini Cooper S just isn't big enough for her. Oh, and most importantly, Lily got to wear her first dress. Doesn't she look cute!

Lily Francis...

Here she is, the whole package. Lily Francis...and we love her like crazy!

Last night, her 3rd night at home mind you, she slept for 5 hrs straight, woke up for a drink, and then slept 3 more hours. I love this child.

Poofy Lily

Ok, you tell me...Yes, I'm her father, yes I'm biased, but come on...

Footballily

This is one of my favorites. Notice my ACOG-approved 'football' hold. She loves it...and I do too.

Lily and Wendy

This picture was taken in the hospital a couple days after birth. Lily was born on May 5th at 6:03a. She weighed 7lbs 10oz. Wendy had a tough labor but everyone is very happy and healthy now.
