Friday morning in Margaret River

Our first morning, we awoke to the sounds of the Kookabura bird, which sounds a bit like a monkey (I found this clip of it: http://www.wimp.com/kookaburrabird/). 

Corey headed into town, about 2-miles away, to pick up some fresh baked muffins, chocolate croissants, and coffee.  Yum!  The highlight was the passion fruit muffin.  We then we headed to Redgate Beach for a little hike.

 We strolled until we came to a little river cutting through the sand.  The kids decided to build a dam so we could cross :)  And they did a bit of sand sliding too.
