We had a big agenda for the first day of 2022. We had a team working on painting the front gate, a team working with the mother's and babies, and another with the photos.

We set off for Murchison Falls for a safari to thank the students for the hard work over the past week. A beautiful drive!
The roof raises up in the car to make for the perfect wildlife spotting. We saw our first elephant from the road.
We stayed at Bwana Tembo
Once we checked in, we met up for dinner and then slept soundly until our 5AM safari.
The girls and I stayed in one cabin and Corey and Caden in the one next door.
We had escorts to and from our lodge since the park was open.
