Cotwsold's - Day 11 - Aug 7

We woke to a beautiful morning!  Love these have windows that swing open.  And so love the light!

The history of "our" Beverston Castle.

We headed into Bath for the day to enjoy high tea.  I will never forget zipping along the beautiful country roads with our windows down, blaring songs by the band Wet Leg :)

This cracked me up.  But really, isn't the spoon more of an accomplice?!?

High Tea at the Pump Room

The pianist complemented me on my market dress.  Hmph!

Why can't we only eat warm scones and clotted cream for every meal???

In case you're wondering, "The Grand Pump Room is a historic building in the Abbey Churchyard, Bath, Somerset, England. It is adjacent to the Roman Baths and is named for water that is pumped into the room from the baths' hot springs. "

We did the Bridgerton self-guided walking tour...and shared some secrets at Modiste.

This is the door of the "girlfriend" of one of the Brigerton brothers.

Apparently this façade is used a lot for different scenes.  We had a picnic here :)

Once home, we strolled the castle grounds and admired the gorgeous flowers.
