Milano - Day 3, May 19, 2021

We have decided to photograph Lily's Milan outfit each day in our courtyard.  As she noted, her sense of fashion has expanded from being in Milan.  Uh-oh.

These pants were 'procured' at the market.  The size of tiny Milanese women suits her with finding pants that actually fit!

We Google "best croissants of Milan" and decided we would be the judge.  So we set off to the second option on the list...

We did a little shopping...

Prince Bakery (which they have one site in Chicago) - which tasted excellent in Chicago, but just okay when here in Milan.

We took a quick tour through the Starbucks Reserve.

We walked to Panini Durini to meet up with Chiara :) by way of Sforza Castellano.  Stopping for those photo resulted in two string bracelets from Kenyans requesting $1,000 Euros.

After school for each of us, I shelled our fava beans from the market, and then we ate at the restaurant right next to our door, Marchigiano.  The owner was quite jolly, and good at English, from having served as a chef on a cruise line.

Initially we thought this meandering pup was lost, but it turns out, he is the king of the street.  This throne at the restaurant is where he rests.  When he feels like it.  P.S. he does not want to be pet.  Thank you.  Or Grazie e mille.
