Italy - Day 33 (Milan)

Soooo thankful for antibiotics and a husband who kept on trying until he secured them!  Poor guy.  He likely would've scored "medical marijuana" more quickly.

We made it out in the evening for a visit to one of the best rated burger joints in town.  We arrived at 6:45 and they didn't open until 7, so we did our daily snail duty in the interim.
They called each other beforehand

Lily's Snail

Caden's snail
(When we were in Milan there were big sculptures of snails and birds and they were made out of plastic!!!)

I was trying to conspiculously snap a photo of this Audrey-Hepburn-ish looking girl sitting on the wall.  Not sure if it is my expectation of Milan or fashion, or a reality, but so many interesting people.  Another interesting find is from the book I am reading, The Italians, that claims that Italy is one of the top countries in the world for plastic surgery.  Clinics galore support this finding.

Just on the opposite wall, I found another cool girl .. :)

We were the first customers of the burger joint, thankfully!  At least 20 people filed in behind us.  Like Five Guys, you design your own burger.  Unlike Five Guys, you select the type of meat for the burger from the basic level "Limousine Padana" to the "Bufalo Campano" to the "Waygu".  The burgers were about 7-inches in diameter, which we didn't know until we had three 2/3 portions of burgers uneaten.  Pretty good, and made better by the beer that was also available.
Caden suddenly had to go to the bathroom, however you are looking at the totality of the restaurant.  Right after this shot, Corey ran him back up to our place, which is just out the door, while the girls and I waited and sipped our beverages.
Small steps, but feeling a bit better.  Back up to bed I went afterwards.
