Tuscany, Italy - Day 13, June 9

Love the sunlight coming into the windows of this house.  The white stucco walls and linen curtains just glow.  I snapped a photo of Gia sleeping with grandma.  We all leave tomorrow morning - with Troy, Carolyn, and Ange leaving very early, so this is the last morning Gia gets to have a slumber party with grandma.

Beautiful morning today with clouds low in the valley.  I was working on the front patio for a while, so I captured a few photos as the clouds lifted.

After working a bit, Carolyn and I decided to tackle the run into town.  We did a walk-run combo to make it the 4.5 miles of pure hills, but it went great.  Next up...Patagonia Marathon!

We strolled through town and the old castle while we waited for our sag wagon :)

Hard to see in this picture, but our house is just over the crest of the first hill.

It looks like they're preparing for a festival.  Signs translated about jousting...

The drive home we retraced some of our biking route to capture this beautiful road - and to stop for a cappuccino of course.

A little more wine, pool time, painting and of course napping.  Living a good life!

Troy, Carolyn, Ange and Lily went into the little town this evening.  I finished the blog and took a stroll around the house.  So much beauty that a mere camera cannot capture.

Love this photo of looking into the house from the beautiful veranda at Lily in the kitchen.
