Rome, Italy - Day 5, June 1

We are moving out of our Spanish Steps flat today and moving closer to the Vatican with the arrival of Neema, Uncle Troy, and Auntie Carolyn.  But first, pics from my farewell run... :) The training for the Patagonia Marathon has officially started.

We pulled our bags about a mile to store them at the property offices before our next rental was ready.  The photo below is looking down on Neema as they just arrive.

We only had an hour to wait, so we left our bags and went for breakfast by Trevi Fountain.

We checked in at our new place, which is 3 bedrooms, and then this little room, so no living room!  The kids did some painting and then I headed to teach while the rest of the crew went out for lunch.

After teaching, Quin and I walked an hour to our farewell dinner spot.  The walk took us through the beautiful Tastevere area that my Cattolica students from Rome recommended.  There were a lot of hills!

Farewell photo with the ND Italy Design Thinking class of 2023.  Such a great group!
