Arrivo Milano - May 14

One of my favorite mantras to live by is to not let school get in the way of your child's education (thank you Anthony's!).  The kids are at an incredible school (Trinity School at Greenlawn) that has been so supportive of making accommodations for the kids to be able to participate in experiences.  This year was Caden's turn.  The two of us set off for Milan on May 14 for my teaching at Cattolica, and for the first time, to be joined by Notre Dame students.

We rented a home in the Navigli District, where we rented once before when Caden was little, in a beautiful old building on the 4th floor.  The house was gorgeous, with beautiful French doors that opened onto balconies from every room.  And the location, right above a really good gelato shop :) could not be beat.

We walked along the canals and stopped for what will surely be one of many fantastic meals.

After dinner we walked along the beautiful streets, soaking it all in.  WE LOVE MILAN!

Translates to, "I am a furious little bee"

Every night ends (and sometimes begins) with Gelato!
