El Salvador - Day 10-11 Last Day

 Today is our last day.  We have a flight home at 2AM, so will head for the airport at 10PM.  

Another peaceful morning.  Lily did a run on the beach by herself.  She looked like a baddy.

Around 9:30 we headed out to meet our guide Pedro  to hike the waterfalls.  We drove to the head of the trail, so Caden, Lily and I rode in the pickup truck.  

The trail was no joke!  Proud that everyone made it and managed a swim at the falls ;)

So many puppy's meandering everywhere in El Salvador and this bike was no different!  The dogs were traversing steep rocks and stairs.  This little one was one of our favorites.  We wished we could bring him home to play with Finn :)

Once back we had enjoyed the pool and reading.  Lily and Caden spent hours at the rocks finding cute little hermit crabs.

I borrowed a new friends surf board for a second attempt.  By the time I walked down to the part of the beach we had lessons before I was wiped!  After a few waves where I had my your know what handed to me, I threw in the towel. Definitely need more lessons.  Sweet Corey met me half way to carry my board back.  I played in the ocean a bit longer with Lily and Caden and then took a 😴

We headed back to Capt. Cooks for dinner.  It is a 1/2 mall walk up the beach.  The food was great once again.  Corey and I had an ice cream afterwards that was pretty average and the kids had crepes.

That's a wrap!  Flight at 2 AM to Texas.  Bu-bye El Salvador!
