Seattle - June 11 (Day 6)

One of dear friends, we named Chloe, came by to see off this morning.

Chloe loved blueberries too!

On our way out of town to the ferry we spotted a bald eagle on the side of the road, who seemed to pose just for us!

 

Uneventful trip back to the mainland.  Headed to Bellvue.  Great dinner at a farm to table spot, right on a park, aptly named 99 Park.  Then pool, and poolside ping pong for Corey and me, before watching movies with treats from Frost.  Back to the Bend tomorrow!

Seattle - June 10 (Day 6)

I returned to the Moran State Park for a run this morning.  A soft rain fell.  So peaceful and soulful. 

After a big breakfast at the cottage, we headed out for some fishing - which also included Orcas whale watching and seal gazing!  Quite a day!

Such a gorgeous day on the Puget Sound!  We passed into Canadian waters throughout the day and could see the Vancouver skyline as we fished.

Captain Sky cleaned Lily's fish for us.  We ate 1/2 the fish and gave the other half to Sky.  It was soooo good!

Seattle - June 9 (Day 5)

The morning began with the usual beach exploration.

Gia was the 'baby crab babsitter' - all had names - which I can't recall '_'

 We went out for a bike adventure.  The kid's first taste of mountain biking.
