Hawaiian Adventure - Maui, December 29 - January - 1

We left for Hawaii on 12/28 - to do a park and fly out of O'Hare.  Caden decided to lose his tooth on the way!  Argh!  We accidentally left the tooth in the car park, so we had quite a tough time getting to bed to catch our early morning flight.  Thankfully the tooth fairy came anyway '_'














We began our stay in Maui.  The hotel greeting was lovely!  A highlight of our trip.  The kids were give leis and cute little stuffies.  There happened to be Hawaiian dancing as we arrived too!  We enjoyed the concert for a bit before hitting the pool.

We bought ukuleles from Mele.  When we visited the shop we walked into an impromptu concert, complete with singing.  We were sold!  And then we had instruments to play EVERYWHERE WE WENT FOR THE REST OF THE TRIP!!!

We rang in the new year in Maui and really enjoyed the ocean views and pool.  We started three of our mornings at a little cafe nearby.  And a couple morning with a short jog and a beach walk. 

We loved cracking our own macadamia nuts.  And enjoyed fresh coconut.

Our last morning in Maui we enjoyed the beach.  We all took a swim.
