Pigeons in Venice
Our first trip was to the Square. It rained while we were in the water bus on the way over, leaving the sky with beautiful hues. The Square is where there is a crazy number of pigeons! They land all over you! Lily loved them. I happened to be videoing when one landed right on her head : ) We walked back to the hotel through the maze of little streets amidst the canals with Lily sleeping in our arms. She woke up when we got closer to the hotel (a 30 minute walk later) and enjoyed her first of many gelattos to come. It was a really nice day. [July 4, 2007]
Hotel Dogeressa in Venice
The hotel was great...Lily especially liked the bedet!!!
Beautiful view, incredibly nice people (especially Lily's boyfriend Omar), and close to everything! Lily loved watching people walk by! And people loved watching Lily! We had breakfast out on the walk every morning. Truly the good life. [July 3, 4, 5, 6]

Lily's First Trip to Europe

Visiting Lou and Colleen in Lewes, DE
Lily and her parents spent another weekend at the beach in Lewes, DE at Lou and Colleen's beach house. We enjoyed a nice run, some great food, beach time, and relaxing at Lou and Colleen's house.

St. Josephs Beach
We had a nice visit to South Bend to meet with contractors for our new house. We took a break with Grandma and Grandpa Angst to visit St. Josephs beach. Gorgeous beach...and only 45 minutes away! [June 15, 2007]
