Algarve - Day 13, June 16

Today is Father's Day! I was up early so attempted the cliff run again. Much more enjoyable when I know where to go.

We had lunch reservations at Camillo's in Lagos. They had just caught seafood to select from. The waitress was really into pointing out each fish to Corey and I, running her fingers over it and touching their eyes. Then when Lily and Sophia went to look at the fresh fish, and she did it again! We have decided that she must have grown up in a fishing family. Or she's really strange. Or both?

We started lunch with cocktails. I had the Black Wolf. It was sooooo good. Lily tried and declared that if the Hall's house had a taste, this would be it :)

We started with bread and butter - including a truffle butter. Truffle butter = heaven.

We ordered a whole fish, fresh sardines, and

Perfect meal!

Enjoyed the views before heading home.

Once home, we sampled Portuguese cookies on the patio.

Lily and Sophia went to the beach for a bit. I heard their giggles as they were walking back and snapped a couple of pics from the balcony.

Father's Day was tiring for all :)

Once everyone was renewed, we decided to hike up to the faux-lighthouse thing to watch the sunset. Gia wasn't feeling well, so stopped half way up. The rest of us continued on and were met by gale-force winds!

Once down, we decided to get a pizza :)
