Up early and set out for a run to explore Cascais. So much to take in! Beautiful harbor, streets, homes, shops, and art.

Core was up when I got back so we headed out to Euphoria for breakfast and to work a bit. This was one of my best meals yet! Avocado toast, OJ, flat white, and a pistachio macron.
After breakfast I read on the balcony :)
Later in the afternoon, Lily, Sophia, Caden and I went to the Paula Rego museum housed in big orange pyramid-like buildings designed by the architect Eduardo Souto de Moura. Born in Portugal and trained in the UK where she lived much of her life, Rego's work was focused on controversial political issues - the political opposition in Portugal, abortion, and genital mutilation.
We walked through Parque Municipal afterwards and marveled at the turtles :)
We walked through the museum courtyard of the Cidadela de Cascais and shared some shrimp, bread and olives at a little café. So good!
We stopped for a coffee on the way home at this cool little coffee shop by our house.
That evening Corey's conference started with a cocktail reception. We tried to find an Uber, but the traffic was terrible, so we hopped on scooters. Scooters on cobblestone is a terrible idea. We alternated between the side of the road and the cobblestone for a few miles before parking the scooters and catching an Uber. Definitely character building! Add in the ocean wind and me not having a hair band and wow. Not quite the look I was going for at the conference! :)
I smoothed my hair down as best I could once we got there. But refusing to look at the camera out of spite :) The university is in a stunning, seaside location. We are putting in our transfers from ND!
