Traverse City
We had a great Memorial weekend in Traverse City! We headed north with our good friends Micki, Scott and Grace Kidder, and met Neema and Neepa, as well as Troy and Mary and cousins and Missy and Tom and cousins for a fun romp at Great Wolf Lodge.
The weekend began with a half-marathon for Micki, Mary and I. It was beautiful! We then enjoyed the pools, the vineyards, and the quaint shops in town : )

Happy Mother's Day!
Caden Started Walking!
Caden took off with a little run! He begain crossing the entire distance of the house immediately! His vocabulary has also seemed to expand. Espeically with no, ow, hot, and bye. I had started to shut the fridge door and he looked up at me and said, "Owwww". Corey and I looked at each other and chuckled at how much that sounded like ow, only to look down and see his little fingers in the fridge door! He is great at telling you exactly what he wants through his pointing and voclization. He is growing up too quickly!!! He is still a sweet little mush though : )
Lily Turns 3
So hard to believe, but Lily Francis has turned 3! We had a rough start to the day with a trip to the doctors for a staph infection, but she seemed to be doing much better once we returned home from a stop at the donut shop and got to the presents!
Princess Lily received 4 dress up outfits - Belle, Cinderella, Snow White and the Little Mermaid. She had a blast trying them on, despite her ouchy from the staph.
What a profile : )
This was a joint birthday gift for Lily and Caden!
When we went for donuts Lily was admiring all of the wedding cakes - one of which was pink. So the baker offered to "pink-up" a day-old cake for us, which happened to be banana! I know, sounds cheap, but keep in mind we have THE Pink Party coming up Saturday... We had a dinner of cheese burgers at the little table in the living room : )

Playing Together
Celebrating Caden, Lily's and Aunt Andrea's Birthday
Grandma Sandy, Grandpa Dave, Uncle Jimmy and Aunt Andrea came for a visit to celebrate birthdays. It was a beautiful weekend so we were able to play outside and get Lily and Caden's gardens plants.
Here Uncle Jimmy trys out the play set.
Our little stud muffin taking his Auntie Andrea for one of many walks.
"Yo, toots, got a light?"
"Yo, toots, got a light?"
Aunt Andrea was kept quite busy. Here Lily plants purple flowers.
And some more purple flowers...which were my birthday gift from Lily and Caden this year per Lily's suggestion when asked by her daddy what to get me for my birthday and her response was "purple". Funny enough this also included blue gloves Corey thought were purple : )
The little garndener. We spent a lot of time sitting and watching our new strawberry plants grow. Seriously.
