Our New Concrete Counter Top

We had the opportunity to put our handprints on the under side of our new concrete counter top for the kitchen before it dried : )

Chicago

We enjoyed our third-annual trek to Chicago for Christmas fun! We stayed on the Miracle Mile and ventured to American Girl Doll Place, Lego Land, and the Christmas Festival at Navy Pier. We all had a blast. Navy Pier

Oh Christmas Tree...

Our first chat of the year with Santa! Lily told Santa she would like a baby doll and that her brother might like a truck : )
Look at those muscles!
Lily decided she'd rather be the tree scout.

This looks like a page out of J.Crew!
Searching for our tree...

We found it!
Now the cocoa...

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving day/night with Grandma Sandy and Grandpa Dave. We didn't capture many photos, other than Lily helping Grandma make pies. Lily made her own little pie with a raspberry in the middle, which she still talks about.
Then we headed to Neema and Neepa's for the day after Thanksiving. Lily andCaden had a blast playing with all of their cousins...
Aunt Missy and Caden getting in a few snuggles.
Picture-perfect Marlee.
This series of shots is priceless...

Caden and Natlie. Can you tell these two are related?!?
Caden loved wearing this fedora hat of Great Grandpa Angst.
Then we all donned our jammies...
and played some more!
Nolan Henige came over for a bit and fit right in. Well, I guess he is probably related somewhere down the line!
On our way out the door the next day, Caden is still hamming it up in the fedora : )
