May 19th we had a surprise graduation party for Corey. He headed to the airport to pick up his parents and Troy, who wanted to come to graduation, then the wheels set in motion.
Our great friends from Michigan, Greg, Mel, Greg V., Randy, John, and Chrissy swooped in and took care of getting beer, setting up the tent, decorating, etc. Great friends from Wilmington helped with everything else! About 60 people showed up at 3:00, not including the Mariachi Band from La Tolteca.
Corey was very surprised! As you can see below, we each held a letter spelling "Congrats Dr. Angst" to block the street. It was very funny and fun.
The weather just barely held up as we enjoyed some of our favorite Wilmington treats in the park...blue crabs, Hotel DuPont cake and macaroons, and Bobbis : ) And I can't say enough how blessed we are to have such wonderful friends.
