What?!? We're heading home tomorrow?

This is Lily's favorite new pose. Despite the look otherwise, she is just goofing around...but it is as if she is saying, 'What, we have a full day of flying tomorrow to head home to the cold?!?' She did great with the long flights! [January 4 - 9, 2008]

St. Kitts Day 5

Day 5 we set out on Greg's Safari of the rainforest. The island is very beautiful! We drove in an open jeep, which Lily loved. She kept trying to catch the wind on her tongue : ) The weather was great, despite a brief afternoon shower.

We hiked through some sacred Indian grounds and the rainforest. Lily slept for most of the rainforest hike and we all took turns carrying her.

After the hike, we picnicked on fresh fruits at our jeep, parked at an old suger can mill ruin. It was beautiful.


We then took another fun jeep ride back to the Marriott...

And hit the pool with Grandma and Grandpa.


For our last dinner in St. Kitts, we ate at Marshals. An incredible view! Unanimously, this was our best meal of the trip.

St. Kitts Vacation Day 4

Day 4 we went to Basterre and did some shopping. We then headed to the Carribean Ocean side of the island (Friggates Bay) and did some swimming, Corey some snorkeling, and had a good lunch at Shiggidy Shack. [January 7, 2007]

Vacation Day 3

Our third day of vacation we took a little tour of the island and enjoyed lunch at Rawlins Plantation followed by a stroll around the grounds. We made it back in time for pool time. [January 6, 2008]

Vacation - Day 1 and 2

We headed off for vacation January 4th with Grandma and Grandpa Angst. We spent one night in San Juan, Puerto Rico. We enjoyed some great tapas poolside, a walk on the beach, and a dip in the pool before taking a lot of connecting inter-island flights to get to St. Kitts.

In St. Kitts, we stayed in a Marriott timeshare. We had a great time! We enjoyed the pool, drank a lot of pina colada's (without alchohol), and enjoyed the beach and ocean. Lily looks so grown up in the pool with her daddy! This is her 20 month birthday!!! [January 4th and5th, 2008]
